The Belmont County Retired Teachers Association is part of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association.  Our group meets 4 times each year at the Belmont County Country Club. The meetings offer interesting and informative programs for our members, and, of course, a time to reconnect with old friends and an opportunity to make new ones. At present there are 199 listed members with 65-85 members attending regularly at each of our meetings.  We are proud to offer scholarships each year to students pursuing an education career.  We encourage volunteerism by our members, and at each meeting we have collections for local food banks, schools, the women's shelter, and veterans organizations .

     BelCoRTA welcomes all newly retired teachers, soon to be retired teachers, or anyone who has worked in the school system to attend one of its meetings and become a part of our special group.
