The Belmont County Retired Teachers Association is part of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association.  Our group meets 4 times each year at the Belmont County Country Club. The meetings offer interesting and informative programs for our members, and, of course, a time to reconnect with old friends and an opportunity to make new ones. At present there are 219 listed members with 65-80 members attending regularly at each of our meetings.  We are proud to offer a scholarship each year to a student pursuing an education career.  We encourage volunteerism by our members, and at each meeting we have collections for local food banks, schools, and women's shelter.

         BelCoRTA welcomes all newly retired teachers or soon to be retired teachers to attend one of its meetings and become a part of our special group.
